We support education projects in Kenya, Uganda and Lesotho. We give grants to promising students whose families can't pay their fees so they can continue their education. We also provide a meal every day for 70 of the poorest students at a school in Uganda. We support school development projects.

Story

Thank you for visiting our Snowdon for Sunrise challenge fundraising page!

While you are still tucked up in bed on the 22nd September, thirteen amazing, adventurous Rafiki Thabo supporters will put on their climbing gear and head out into the pitch black of night to start their trek up Snowdon as they aim to reach the summit in time for the glorious sunrise!

They are all doing this to raise sponsorship funding to help us with our work enabling access to education for disadvantaged children in Kenya, Uganda and Lesotho, many of whom are living with a disability, many of whom are orphaned.

Our supporters are hoping to raise a minimum of £250 each, but they would love to raise so much more!

By sponsoring one of our supporters or making a donation here on our campaign page, you will help transform young lives through education. £300 can pay for a whole year at secondary school and £80 can pay for daily nutritious, hot school meals for a full year for a child who would otherwise go hungry. With an education these young people can fulfil their potential, secure good employment and in turn support their families and contribute to economic growth in their local communities.

Thank you so much for any support you are able to give, big or small, whether by donating or fundraising for us!

With love and gratitude,

Rafiki Thabo Foundation

PS It seems JG adds an automatic voluntary contribution to them when you donate. Please know that you can set this to £0 in the box below the sliding scale!
