Walking up Snowdon · 22 September 2024

Before dawn breaks on the 22nd September a group of adventurous Rafiki Thabo supporters will brave Snowdon in time for sunrise to raise much needed funds for our work enabling access to education for disadvantaged children in Africa!

Story

I am raising funds for Rafiki Thabo Foundation. Rafiki Thabo is a small charity that has an incredible impact on the lives of children and young people in Kenya, Uganda and Lesotho. Their vision is that young people, including those living with disabilities, will be empowered through education to enable them to reach their full potential and initiate positive change in their communities. They do this by providing scholarships to the most vulnerable in society, by providing school meals, and by improving school learning environments. I am doing this for Rafiki Thabo foundation as I believe what they are doing is just incredible, unlike many of the big charities I have a connection and a greater emotional attachment toward the charity. It only takes 35p for a school meal so my target of £250 can go a long way in peoples lives. Any donation however large or small is appreciated and thank you for your support.
