Preparations are now underway for the Raise a Ribbon 2025 event at Holy Trinity Church on Mothering Sunday 30th March. You can nominate your mother, grandmother or any special lady in your life (past or present) for their names to be celebrated on a beautiful display of ribbons flying from the church tower.

You can nominate names for the ribbons via our Facebook page (using the "Message" button), at sign up sheets around the village or by email to enquiries@barrowandwoldsgroup.com.

The closing date for names is 26th March 2025.

You are also welcome to come into church to write names onto the ribbons yourself on Saturday 15th and 22nd March between 10am and 12pm. It's a good chance to check out the community café too and enjoy a coffee and cake.

The ribbons will be released on Mothering Sunday, 30th March, at 10:30am while the bells ring. The service begins straight after, we hope you'll join us for both!

The ribbons will then be on display for a week and floodlit during the hours of darkness.
