Lives and homes destroyed

Thousands of lives and homes across Gaza have been destroyed by the bombing. Initial assessments in Gaza show more than 13,500 homes have been destroyed or damaged by bombing, and at least 50 schools and 17 health facilities have been damaged.

Palestinian homes are a shell of what they were before and are not safe for families to live with inadequate shelter and sanitation facilities - life is an ongoing struggle.

Islamic Relief is on the ground helping Palestinian families feel at home again in Gaza. We are refurbishing entire homes and supplying each home with clean water facilities to allow for sanitation facilities as well as safe water to drink and cook with.
