This Autumn, we're opening our 2nd Feel Good Coffee House, which will transform the lives of local young people who are facing barriers to employment. To support the opening of our new shop, and to raise awareness of the importance of this service, we're trekking 90 miles in 5 days, along the iconic Hadrian's Wall Path; Coast to Coast from the North Sea in Tynemouth to the Irish Sea in Bowness-on-Solway.

Supporters and staff at Regenerate will be joined by young people who are currently employed at Feel Good, and believe in creating opportunities for other young people just like them.

For everyone on the trip, this is far outside their comfort zone. None have ever taken on anything like it before, and it'll be a challenge beyond what they could have imagine. But it's nothing compared to the kinds of challenges faced by young people we work with.

Recent statistics show that 946,000 young people aged 16-24 are NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training). Feel Good works with those young people who are facing immense barriers when it comes to finding work, offering employment, training, and mentoring for a year. This is a transformative journey where they build the skills, confidence, and experience they need to thrive in the working world.

We’re all about seeing potential, getting to know each young person as an individual, and supporting them in a meaningful way.

Our first brick and mortar shop opened in 2024 and allowed us to dramatically upscale our offering and employ double the number of young people than before.

With a second coffee shop, we will be able to:

• Support, mentor and train 120 young people a year

• Employ 75 young people a year on 12-month contracts, working to move them on to further employment and/or training after this.

• Work towards self sustainability, which will help us grow and support even more young people year on year!
