Story
I've decided to put my passion for hiking to good use this Autumn and take on a 90-mile trek in 5 days along Hadrian's Wall for Regenerate Youth Charity.
From 12th to 16th October, I'll be trekking the iconic Hadrian's Wall Path, walking coast-to-coast from the North Sea in Tynemouth to the Irish Sea in Bowness-on-Solway to raise money for an amazing cause.
I'm taking on this challenge to support Regenerate Youth Charity, which helps young people facing significant barriers to employment. Through their Feel Good Coffee House, they provide employment, training, mentoring and support, helping young people build the confidence, skills and experience they need to create brighter futures.
This year, Regenerate is opening a second Feel Good Coffee House, allowing them to support even more young people through employment and training opportunities. Every pound raised will help grow this life-changing work.
Many of you know that I love hiking and being outdoors; but I've never trekked for more than two full days in a row, let alone covered long distances for five consecutive days. Safe to say there will be some tired legs, battered feet and almost certainly every type of British weather thrown in for good measure!
My goal is to raise £1,000, and I'd be incredibly grateful for any support you can give. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference.
I'll also be connecting my Strava account to this page, so you can follow my progress throughout the trek and hopefully keep me accountable when the miles start to feel a little longer!
Thank you so much for your support, encouragement and donations. If I can turn my love of hiking into something that helps create opportunities for young people, every mile will be worth it.
Ania ❤️
