Response has been at the forefront of supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges for over 50 years. We provide a range of services, including housing, outreach , and community programs that empower people to lead fulfilling lives. Every donation helps Response continue their essential work, supporting more people to rebuild their confidence and independence.

Why We’re Running:

Mental health matters to all of us. Whether it’s a friend, family member, colleague, or even ourselves, we all know someone who has faced mental health challenges. By running the OxfordHalf Marathon, we aim to raise awareness and funds to ensure Response can continue to expand their life-changing services. Every step we take is for those who need support to take their own steps toward recovery.

The Oxford Half Marathon is one of the most exciting and picturesque running events in the UK. Taking place on Sunday, 12 October 2025, this 13.1-mile race winds through the historic streets of Oxford, offering runners a scenic route past its world-famous university parks and other classical landmarks.

£10 Could go towards art supplies as a creative outlet for women who have experienced, abuse, trauma and mental health challenges,.

£30 Could go towards mental health support for a young person leaving care.
