Story
As many of you know, I recently made the decision to pursue a career in psychology. It's been an exciting journey - with a few sacrifices along the way (big thanks to Mum and Dad for housing me!). But I’m loving the process so far, and that’s largely thanks to the past year.
Over the last 12 months, I’ve had the privilege of working at Response - a charity dedicated to transforming lives through mental health support and housing. We provide a wide range of services, including supported housing, outreach, and community programs, all designed to empower people to live safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives.
This experience has given me invaluable insight into the complex realities of mental health, and I’ve seen first-hand how life-changing the right support can be for those who are struggling.
On 12th October, I’ll be running the Oxford Half Marathon, and I’m hoping to raise as much as possible to help Response continue its vital mission of improving mental health outcomes across our communities.
If you’re able to spare a penny, a pound, or anything more, I’d be incredibly grateful.
Thank you so much for your support 💙
