Story
Emergency Department staff at Royal Glamorgan Hospital work in one of the most demanding environments in the NHS. They care for people at their most vulnerable.
Through our CTM NHS Charity, we are fundraising to renovate the Emergency Department staff room and adjoining courtyard, transforming them into a calm, restorative space where staff can step away briefly, decompress, and recharge while remaining close to clinical areas.
This project will refurbish the space and its outdoor courtyard to create a supportive wellbeing environment, including improved facilities, comfortable seating, and a welcoming area for staff to rest and reset during demanding shifts.
Supporting staff wellbeing is essential to sustaining compassionate, high-quality patient care. When NHS staff are supported, they are better able to support others.
CTM NHS Charity exists to make good things happen that core NHS funding cannot always provide. Donations to this campaign will directly support this staff wellbeing project, helping to create a space that reflects the value we place on the people who care for our communities every day.
Every contribution helps make this improvement possible.
Thank you for supporting our Emergency Department teams and helping CTM NHS Charity make good things happen at Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
