Story

Its our 20th Birthday and were going virtual!

During the current crisis, Richard House will be remaining open to provide vital support to the NHS. As hospitals focus on COVID-19 patients we will be taking children with long term conditions from hospitals, both to provide more beds in hospitals for the NHS effort, and also to provide a safer environment for children with long term conditions. More than ever it is vital that Richard House is able to provide care these families and children, many of who are the most vulnerable and at risk in the present crisis.

During the period of nationwide lock down and physical distancing, Richard House invites you to spend 20 hours (for our 20th year) doing a singular physical activity you wouldn't normally do, to help raise vital funds that could help provide a lifeline to seriously ill children and their families delivering care at a time of national crisis.

The 20 hours can be done individually, or as a family, and can be spread out over a week, month, 6 weeks. Why not try running, jumping jacks, yoga, cycling or press ups? The choice is yours! Go hard, and stay at home!

How much do I need to raise to take part? We are NOT asking for a minimum fundraising amount as every donation, no matter how small, helps! We have prizes for each hour of care you're able to raise - so get logging those hours!

Did you know that just £82 could provide an hour of care to a seriously ill child?
