Story
Rhino Ark raises money for the building of electric eco-fences around mountain ecosystems in Kenya, namely Aberdare National Park, Mt. Kenya and Eburu Forest. This provides an "ark" for wildlife such as rhino, leopard, elephant and bongo but also safeguards vital watertable habitat, safeguards the neighbouring population and benefits the environment.
With the cancellation of the 2020 Rhino Charge new ways of raising funds are needed to enable the important work of Rhino Ark to continue whilst the world recovers from Covid-19.
The event format is a virtual journey from London to the summit of Mount Kenya with participants donating £1 or more per mile they walk, run, cycle or swim. There will be a Strava Club for them to join if they so wish but everyone is encouraged to put their mileage on this page along with their donations every week or as often as possible so that others can see the group's progress.
Please join us, improve your fitness and contribute to Rhino Ark's efforts.
