This year, Ride Against Hunger heads to the breath-taking French Pyrenees, where a group of determined cyclists will take on an unforgettable 3.5-day challenge through one of the most iconic cycling landscapes in the world.
Across the route, riders will cover over 300km and climb more than 6,000m, tackling spectacular mountain roads, sweeping descents and some of the most famous climbs in Tour de France history, including the legendary Col du Tourmalet.
This is more than a cycling challenge. It is a test of endurance, resilience and teamwork, all in support of Action Against Hunger’s life-saving work to end hunger for good.
An unforgettable cycling journey
The French Pyrenees are known for their dramatic peaks, winding mountain passes and deep connection to the Tour de France. Over 3.5 days, riders will push themselves across demanding terrain, supported by an incredible team and united by one shared purpose: to raise vital funds for children and families facing hunger around the world.
The iconic Col du Tourmalet
At the heart of this year’s challenge is the Col du Tourmalet: one of the most famous and feared climbs in cycling.
A true Tour de France legend, the Tourmalet has tested some of the world’s greatest cyclists for more than a century. Its long ascent, steep gradients and spectacular mountain views make it both a formidable challenge and a bucket-list moment for any rider.
Reaching the summit will be a powerful achievement for every cyclist taking part: a moment of determination, perseverance and pride, made even more meaningful by the cause behind every pedal stroke.
Ride for a cause
Every mile cycled and every metre climbed will help raise vital funds for Action Against Hunger’s work around the world.
Right now, millions of children are facing life-threatening hunger. Action Against Hunger works in over 50 countries, providing life-saving treatment for malnutrition, access to clean water, healthcare, nutrition support and long-term solutions that help communities build a future free from hunger.
