Rockinghorse Children's Charity are a Brighton based charity, and we fund and deliver lifesaving equipment, specialist projects and enhanced services for sick babies, children and young people throughout Sussex. We support The Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and The Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton, as well as all of the specialist children’s wards and baby units across Sussex.
Our newest project is setting up a brand-new children’s Wellbeing Service based in the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital.
This service will expand on many of the wellbeing projects that Rockinghorse have funded but bring them all in-house and be able to offer them to a much wider group of children across more paediatric departments within the hospital. These projects include sea swimming sessions, woodland well-being days, art therapy and yoga.
The Rockinghorse Relay is a 12 hour swimathon to help raise funds for the Wellbeing Service, taking place at Sea Lanes on 3rd October.
We're asking each participant to raise a minimum of £100, which could fund a 6-week sea swimming course for a teenager with long-term health conditions.
We cannot wait to cheer on all our amazing Rockinghorse Relay swimmers on 3rd October!
