Each year thousands of 11-30 year olds have the chance to develop their skills, confidence and connections through our vibrant create youth programme. Your support will help them find new perspectives and new directions - whatever the spark, we nurture it into a flame that can change everything.

Story

Their gruelling challenge will begin at 5pm on 5 July at the foot of Ben Nevis for a 5hr climb of the Scottish giant. The team will then drive overnight to the Lake District arriving at 4am to tackle the 4 hour climb of Scarfell Pike. Finally they will head to Snowdon in Gwynedd, Wales, driving for 5hrs before beginning the 4hr climb at 1pm, aiming to reach the finish line by 5pm on 6 July.

The money raised from this challenge will go directly to support our work with young people. In the last year we worked with 6,000 young people aged 11-25 enabling them to transform their lives by taking part in projects at the Roundhouse in music, media or the performing arts. The majority of the young people we work with are from lower socio-economic backgrounds.

We are aiming to grow the number of young people we work with to 10,000 a year by 2023; engaging more young people in creative opportunities, particularly those from disadvantaged and under-represented backgrounds.
