Story

At Great Ayton we care for the animals in the greatest of need that have been identified by our uniformed Inspectors. At any one time we are caring for over 150 animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, other small furries and farm animals.

We have a team of nineteen dedicated staff and an army of volunteers who assist us with day to day care of the animals and their accommodation.

Here at Great Ayton Animal Centre the animals that come in to our care are identified by our uniformed inspectors as those most in need. Often abandoned, abused and neglected they all receive care, attention and love from the team.

It costs the RSPCA over £1,600 a day to run Great Ayton Animal Centre and we rely entirely on kind donations from people like you.
