Story
Join Kids Food Basket in our first ever Runraiser where getting out and getting active and fundraising go hand-in-hand. During this time of uncertainty, there is one thing that we know to hold true to and that is this community. We need the communitys support and response to help us to continue to deliver on our organization's mission which is nourishing children to reach their full potetntial.
We are committed to nourishing our community even under extreme conditions. We appreciate our community rallying around and supporting our communities' children, and together we will work to continue to ensure our children are well-nourished, through whatever crisis our community faces.
Peer-to-peer fundraising was new for us in a team event setting, and for me personally. Using social media to spread the word about the Runraiser made the fundraising process much easier than I expected. My greatest learning from the Runraiser, though, was seeing the generosity and enthusiasm from friends and family in support of the work Kids Food Basket is doing in West Michigan. The selfless giving of others was truly humbling, and in turn, gave me a new appreciation for this type of fundraising. Many of my colleagues expressed the same positive experience with the format and were inspired by the impact we could make for kids in our local community. I highly encourage other individuals and groups to experience a Runraiser for themselves! -Barret, Perrigo
