Story
"I don't have to pretend I'm fine when I am not. SAMM means the world to me. It has been my lifeline of people who are waking up each day to realise their loved one has gone, as I do. SAMM saves lives."
Every year we support hundreds of bereaved families and give them the vital help they need after a murder or manslaughter. Without this help they are often left without any trauma support, and they are also left trying to navigate a complex criminal justice system at a time when its most difficult.
We also work incredibly hard to ensure our SAMM community of 5000+ members stay connected to the charity for ongoing support.
We do not receive any government funding and rely on grants and donations to fund our vital services. We would not be able help families without your financial support. We are calling on the public to help reach our target of £25K
