Story
Around 350 school-aged children are bereaved each year in Oxfordshire, yet there is no statutory provision for children's grief support.
Each year SeeSaw provides support for over 400 bereaved children and since the first child received our services, over 8,000 young people have received support from us. Every young person experiences grief differently and the support SeeSaw offers is determined by the needs of each individual child. Our services range from 1-1 support, telephone calls and home visits, to online support videos and booklets. We also provide advice, resources and training to schools and professionals to ensure high quality bereavement support is accessible for all.
Our aim is to offer free support before and after a bereavement for all children and young people in Oxfordshire, if and when they need it.
