Our sponsored walk was started some 30 years ago, specifically for heart patients.

Since 1992, walkers have raised over half a million pounds which we have put towards our vital work of supporting heart healthcare in Sussex.

The walk is a leisurely 5 mile, sponsored stroll from Brighton Marina to the Hove Peace Statue and back again. We invite staff from the Royal Sussex County and Princess Royal Hospitals to volunteer and take part. This often means that walkers can speak directly to those working within the Cardiac Department who have seen first-hand the work the SHC does for heart health.
