Following my stroke in November and heart attack on Christmas Eve the treatment and care I have received from the cardiac team at the Sussex University Trust both at the Sussex County in Brighton and the Prince Royal in Haywards Heath has been outstanding. 

Supported by the Sussex Heart Charity they have helped me start the road to recovery and as they organise a walk to raise funds each year we have decided that this is an excellent way to show our gratitude for all they have done. 

So let's hope the sun shines on the 14th May and with just a gentle sea breeze we hope to complete the course.
