Cransley Hospice Trust is passionate about high quality hospice and end of life care being available to all. We are committed to raising funds that will support and develop the delivery of these services in North Northamptonshire.

Story

Leaping out of an aircraft at 13,000 feet and plunging down to earth at speeds of over 120 mph is a breath-taking, heart-pounding kick of a lifetime. If you want extreme, if you want extraordinary, there's no better thrill than skydiving.

You'll plummet at about 120 mph, descending to 5,000 feet in around 40 seconds! At this point, your skydive instructor will open the parachute and youll be able to enjoy the spectacular scenery as you fly, majestically, safely back to earth!

You'll be in safe hands as the skydive is run by UK Parachuting who have been organising skydives for 25 years and have highly qualified instructors who you will be tandem jumping with.

This year, we are celebrating 25 years of Cransley Hospice. In its 25 years, the hospice has cared for many hundreds of loved ones in our community. Mothers, daughters, fathers, sons, and grandparents. Each person receiving free, specialised, and individualised care to support them and their families during a difficult time. Raising money for Cransley Hospice Trust allows us to look after people from North Northamptonshire with life-limiting illnesses at our wonderful in-patient hospice as well as in patients own homes.

By supporting us you are helping us to continue to provide specialist end-of-life care at the highest possible level. With the population in North Northamptonshire increasing and growing older, and the significant financial pressures both locally and nationally, our support is needed more than ever. We must ensure the support provided to both patients and families over the last 25 years is developed to meet the need for the next 25 years and beyond.

Registration is £50 to secure your place, and you can choose from the two options after you have completed the registration process;

1. Commit to raise £350 for Cransley Hospice, or

2. Self-fund the skydive and pay your £180 on the day.

If you have any questions please contact events@cransleyhospice.org.uk and one of the team will be happy to help.

Your thrilling adventure will start at Sibson Airfield just off the A1 near Peterborough.
