Stephen's going out on a high!

After 33 years at St Andrew's Children's Society Stephen Small, our much loved CEO, has decided to retire at the end of November 2026.

He would like us to raise as much money as possible to support our families before he goes and so we are holding a St Andrew's Day fundraiser.

On Saturday, 24 Oct 2026 Stephen Small, Emma Quinn and Tim Rogerson will each be doing a tandem Skydive as part of the fundraising campaign. After they have exited the aircraft from up to 10,000ft above the ground, they will skydive through the air at speeds of up to 120 miles per hour and will free-fall for 30 seconds! We are hoping to film Stephen's skydive, including the parachute landing.

We are committed to providing our families with lifelong support - whenever they need it and as often as they need it. We feel that this is our moral duty.

But as a voluntary adoption and fostering agency, we rely on fundraising to cover the cost of this essential support.

Please note that it costs St Andrew's Children's Society £280 for each person to do the charity tandem skydive (£840 in total). We have set the fundraising target at £2,000 to cover the cost of the tandem skydive and every penny raised above £840 will be used to offer our families lifelong adoption support.
