36 of our Scouts and Explorers have been selected to represent the Somerset Scouts at the World Scout Jamboree in 2027. This is a massive honour for them.

These young persons will be carrying out fundraising activities and tasks over the next 18 months in order to raise the funds they need to attend the Jamboree, and acquire any kit they need.

As a member of the UK contingent, part of their fees goes towards subsidising places from areas of the world less affluent than the UK. So any donations won't just be supporting our explorers, but explorers from around the world as well.

Any fundraising that isn't used towards the jamboree will go towards funding other international adventures with scouts.
