44 Scouts and Explorers from Somerset have been selected to represent the Somerset Scouts at the World Scout Jamboree in 2027. It is a massive honour to be one of them.

I will be carrying out fundraising activities and tasks over the next 18 months in order to raise the funds needed to attend the Jamboree, and acquire any kit I need.

As a member of the UK contingent, part of our fees goes towards subsidising places from areas of the world less affluent than the UK. So the donations won't just be supporting mine, but explorers from around the world as well.

Any fundraising that isn't used towards the jamboree will go towards funding other international adventures with scouts.
