Story

Take part in Southend’s premier running event, the Southend Half Marathon on Sunday 9th June 2024.

The course is fast and flat and ideal for both experienced and new half marathon runners.

Every mile is helping us continue ‘Making every day count’ for children and adults with incurable conditions in Essex.

With an action-packed day, our Event Village will be a hub of activity in the centre of Shoeburyness East Beach, open during the hours of 7:30am to 3pm.

When an adult or child has been diagnosed with a complex or incurable condition, Havens Hospices can provide the care they need, ‘Making every day count’. Our specialist Care Teams can support them in the comfort of their own home and through our hospices, Fair Havens and Little Havens.
