At The Princess Alexandra Hospital Charity, we enhance patient care, purchase special equipment, improve facilities and invest in research to support patients now and in the future.

We also focus on improving the experience of our amazing people, who are committed to providing high quality patient care at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishops Stortford, and St Margarets Hospital in Epping.

We were overwhelmed by your generosity during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you. Your kind donations helped to lift the spirits of our people during this challenging time, and we have now opened a fantastic new, modern staff area to support their health and wellbeing.

We are currently working on some exciting new projects, such as fundraising for a new retinal scanning machine for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This will facilitate our screening for eye health issues and minimise the risk of permanent eye damage or blindness for babies.
