Why is it important ? Being around horses reduces anxiety and stress, lifts your spirits, and enables you to develop positive and peaceful states of mind. Horses are non-judgemental and as such a safe presence helping to restore trust and boost self-esteem and confidence – you can be your authentic self when you are with a horse! Horses are highly sensitive and quick to sense your emotions, prompting you to be in the moment, practice mindfulness and stay calm. Riding horses raises awareness of any tension held in the body, improves posture, balance and coordination and overall physical fitness.
