No parent ever expects to hear that their newborn baby needs specialist neonatal care. In an instant, hopes and excitement can be replaced with fear, uncertainty and long days spent by an incubator.

Each year, SSNAP supports more than 1,000 families whose babies are cared for on the Neonatal Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

Thanks to the generosity of people like you, we're there throughout every stage of their journey. We provide emotional, practical and financial support to families when they need it most, helping to ease some of the pressures they face during one of the most challenging times of their lives.

Your support helps us:

- Provide a dedicated Family Care Team on the neonatal unit.

- Keep our Parent Pantry stocked with free food and essentials for families.

- Fund specialist medical equipment

- Support the incredible NHS neonatal staff with training, wellbeing initiatives and equipment.

- Continue supporting families after discharge through our Little SSNAPlings groups, helping them build friendships and confidence as they adjust to life at home.

SSNAP receives no statutory funding. Everything we do is made possible by the kindness of individuals, community groups, businesses and fundraisers who choose to support us.
