Story

Starlight Hike, sponsored by Capita, returns on Saturday 21st October at 8pm. Join hundreds of walkers for a great night out and walk under the stars with family and friends to celebrate a loved one. You'll have plenty of time to soak up live music from the amazing Got 2 Sing as well as a fun Clubbercise warm up before heading out on your 10k walk. Walkers will have the opportunity to pass through the beautifully lit tranquil grounds of Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice, and dedicate a star in memory of those special to them.

Last year over 8,100 people across the country were cared for by Sue Ryder’s hospice teams, including from our Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice or in their own homes in the community. Sue Ryder doctors and nurses can manage patients’ pain and symptoms and make more space for a family’s final days to be filled with love.

By taking part in Sue Ryder Starlight Hike you’re helping our specialist teams to provide expert care which means the end of people’s lives can be filled with friendship, family and love in their final moments together. Sadly, almost all of us will experience the loss of a loved one - your support can help more people get the end-of-life care they need and deserve.
