Organised by St. Augustine's PTA Tunbridge WellsThe PTA is raising £21,000 for a new playground to enhance children's school experience through play. In collaboration with our Acting Headteacher and Governance Committee, we aim to create a safe space that promotes learning and social development.
Last summer, the PTA set an ambitious goal: to fund a new playground that benefits the entire school.
The current playground is worn down and it has been slowly taken apart, for children's safety, leaving fewer play options available.
We believe our children deserve better - a safe, fun and engaging space where they can grow, learn, and play. A well designed playground enhances their experience at school and fosters learning outside the classroom.
The chosen playground has been designed by Creative Play (Company No 2926160) and as of May 2024, costs £28,979.00. The PTA has guaranteed £7,979 and is aiming to raise £21,000.
This cost includes:
- Adventure Trail 6 L-shaped
- A-Frame Log & Net
- Overhead Traverse 1.8 M
- Removal and disposal of existing synthetic surfacing (152m2) and shock pad tiles to an approved waste disposal facility and removal and disposal of existing trim items.
