Launching on Monday 3rd June, we're thrilled to invite Team Schein to participate in a company-wide 4-week Step Challenge & Fundraiser, Step Into Summer, in aid of SUDC UK. Our mission? To unite as a team, conquer a collective step and fundraising goal, all while igniting some friendly competition along the way!
SUDC stands for Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood, and is the term used to describe the sudden and unexpected death of a child between 1 and 18 years of age, which remains unexplained after a thorough investigation is conducted. SUDC UK is a charitable organisation dedicated to raising awareness, funding research, and providing support to families affected by sudden unexplained death in children. The SUDC Foundation is the only organisation worldwide with the specific purpose of addressing this tragic occurrence. In these instances, most often, a seemingly healthy child goes to sleep and never wakes up, as was the case for one of our own TSM’s children, click here to read Benjamin’s story (warning, sensitive content), the inspiration and driving force behind Step Into Summer.
To coincide with Step Into Summer, we are launching 4 weekly initiatives as part of a Pay it Forward Movement. Paying it forward is when someone responds to a kind gesture they've received by extending a similar act of kindness to another person, casting a ripple of positivity into the world.
The Pay it Forward Movement promotes kindness in our workplace while making a difference in the lives of others through our charitable initiatives for SUDC UK by supporting our fundraising goals.
Join the movement this June and discover countless ways to Pay it Forward for SUDC UK. How will you make a difference?
