Step Up for Sam

Story
Hello! Sam is a wee boy from Inverness.
Sam's initial campaign was started in 2019. At this stage Sam was 4 years old and undiagnosed with what was thought to be likely a genetic condition and we did not know what the future held. We just knew he needed lots of extra support and we would do anything to give it to him.
We took Sam to London to see specialist therapists and then 'Step up for Sam' was born, as our family and friends decided to fundraise for Just4Children to help Sam. We hoped all the therapy would give him some independence but unfortunately he is now diagnosed with the condition LMNB1 affecting him so severely, that this was not to be.
We were so lucky due to his fundraising to be in a position to try many things and we continue to do so to attempt to give him the best of care.
As Sam grows, his needs increase and our amazing family and friends continue to support him, but now with the addition of a lot more equipment needs on top of specialist physio, OT and other therapies. These always carry a hefty price tag unfortunately.
We are so grateful and thankful to everyone who has fundraised and donated in the past and continue to do so.
