Sam Douglas, from Inverness, lives with a genetic fault LMNB1 which has also led to cerebral palsy, epilepsy and global development delay. Only eight children in the world have been diagnosed with it.

Family and friends started fundraising a few years ago to enable Sam to undergo specialist therapies in order to help him live the best life he can.

I’m aiming to fundraise for Sam by participating in a solo 24 hour endurance running event on August 26/27th.

The Loch Ness 24 is an epic 24hr trail running race on the banks of the world's most famous Loch. The aim is to clock up as many 7km laps as you can along the most spectacular trails and along the beaches of Loch Ness.
