When demand for St Johns Kitchen exploded two years ago, we only had our domestic fridge-freezer which had been hanging around the church for ages. This quickly became insufficient, and we were kindly donated an old undercounter sized fridge. Theyve both served us well, but with the wonderful White Brothers Greengrocers continuing to supply us with all our veg and fruit for cooking, and new partnerships with Pret and City Harvest, we need to upgrade our cold storage again.

We have our eye on a new 600ltr catering fridge which will allow us to waste less food and offer more fresh food to our food bank guests. These dont come cheap, so were fundraising now in preparation for what we think will be a busy winter ahead.
