Story

One in four people in the UK will experience mental ill health in their lifetime. Impacting confidence, personal relationships and the ability to retain a job.

Restore supports individuals to take control of their own mental health recovery through therapeutic activity, employment coaching and training. Helping individuals to develop new skills, build confidence and connect with others in the community. Last year, Restore supported several hundred individuals experiencing mental ill health. Helping a third of members into employment and a further third into volunteering or training.

At Restore I have found support and encouragement. They have made me feel that I do have a value in life. The companionship and contact with others has helped ease the loneliness inherent in suffering from depression and anxiety. Without it, I would be in a much darker place

Thank you to all of our local heroes, stepping up to learn the world of Latin and Ballroom dance and for making a difference for better mental health in Oxfordshire. The final show is set to be spectacular with guest performances alongside the main event. Make sure to bring all of your friends and family along to support, they won't want to miss it!
