Story

Our vision is that people unexpectedly bereaved get help at a time of darkness to move to a brighter day.

Sudden is an early intervention service providing emotional and practical support following an unexpected bereavement. Our service is free.

We help you whatever the cause of death. We are also here if you are caring for someone bereaved suddenly, and need help and support.

We provide emotional support and help with many practical things. We also support communities and professionals to help suddenly bereaved people.

If you, or someone you know, has experienced sudden bereavement, Sudden can help. Call us on 0800 2600 400 or contact us at help@sudden.org and well arrange for a dedicated caseworker to call you back.
