Matthew's Friends provide information and support for children and adults using Ketogenic Dietary Therapies for epilepsy, Glut1DS, and other neurological disorders.

Story

Children and adults with epilepsy, who are prescribed a medical Ketogenic Dietary Therapy follow a strict low carbohydrate/high fat diet to help reduce, or in some cases, completely get rid of their seizures. This can help change their lives completely, improving day to day quality of life for not only the person with epilepsy, but also their family and friends.

During November we ask that you go sugar-free and cut the carbage, in support of Ketogenic Diet patients.

Why not:

Cut out sugary sweets/biscuits and cakes and donate the money you save!

Cut out alcohol for one month and donate the money you save!

Hold a sugar free bake sale or dinner party, charge your guests to attend!

Matthew's Friends will make sure that your donation is used to help future families affected by catastrophic epilepsy.

Note: Warning. The video below does contain seizure footage of Matthew at the start of the video.
