Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses – who we continually support and develop – provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

Story

Join thousands of supporters who will be taking on our Summer Steps Challenge and walking one million steps (or your chosen distance) between 1 June and 31st August to help support families facing dementia.

How to get started?

1) Set up your fundraising page by clicking the orange button (below or to your right) which says 'Start fundraising'.

2) Join our Summer Steps Challenge Facebook Group.

3) Share your fundraising page link with friends and family along with photos and videos of you doing the challenge.

When they see the progress you're making, the donations will start to flow and you'll be making a real difference to families facing dementia as you build up those steps.

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing support to families affected by all forms of dementia. Working on the free national Helpline, in clinics and in the community, they are a lifeline to families who are feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and alone, helping them through the fear and confusion of living with dementia.
