We are a small group of volunteers who are organising special events for children with life limiting and life threatening illnesses within the Lincolnshire and Yorkshire areas. We work locally to benefit local children, with an aim of brightening the smiles of brave and deserving children.

Story

Calvert Lakes is a residential centre that aims to give people with a range of disabilities the opportunity to experience physical activities they would never be able to do otherwise.

We are aiming to arrange two trips to Calvert Lakes in 2026, allowing 15 of our families each time to have what we think will be life-changing experiences.

Many of our children lack confidence and self esteem from the many hospital visits and treatments they endure, and have to recover from. The conditions from which many of our Sunflowers suffer affect them both mentally and physically, and impact the whole family.

We hope, that by giving some of our families these experiences, in an environment which will be exclusively ours for four nights, that this will also help to cement supportive inter-family friendships and support.

Please support this if you can.
