I'm raising funds to help families whose children have life-limiting conditions and disabilities to go on a trip to Calvert Lakes.

The Charity, which is operated by volunteers, is hoping to run two trips to Calvert in 2026, taking a total of 30 families to experience activities such as Canoeing, Sailing, Handbiking and cycling, Zip Wire, Bushcraft, Orienteering and much more.

The trips include all meals, and accommodation provides hoists and profiling beds where needed.

For children who undergo harsh and painful treatments, and have so much to contend with on a day-to-day basis, these trips may prove life-changing for some, as the aim is to build confidence and ability, and to provide parents with a safe and secure environment within which to relax and enjoy positive times with their children, whilst enhancing relationships with other families.
