She would never leave my side and little by little she has just come alive and she just pushes her pain aside. The activities have given me an opportunity to make friends, to meet other parents who have experienced the worry of not knowing what it's like to have to go through wondering if your child will survive the night. Kitty loves the Bounceback sessions - there, she can increase her physical fitness through structured exercsie sessions which are fun and interactive.I know I thank God for Sunflowers and I know many parents feel the same way. When you have a child with a life-limiting condition, it's sometimes difficult taking them places their peers might go, and things have to be done a little differently to accommodate their needs. That's where Sunflowers comes in. We carefully select partners to work with, hold our own events and try and include every child in events suitable for their needs from airport character sleepovers, to Christmas parties, theatre trips and much more. None of us take pay - to see the smiles on the children's faces (and those of their siblings and guardians) is reward enough.
