When we think of superheroes, we think of those with extraordinary powers that are there for us when we need them most. They live normal, everyday lives like me and you but when they are called upon they save the day and make the word a better place. Not all superheroes need to fly or have x-ray vision.
Some superheroes can change the world though supporting someone in need, picking up the phone or through showing love and affection. These are the real superheroes, people like our amazing support workers, our helpline volunteers, fearless campaigners and those people that we support that show the world every day that they are super in ways others can only dream of.
You can be super too, just like them by fundraising for Mencap and showing your super powers off for the whole world to see.
