This is Srey Hang, a 17-year Cambodian girl born with tetra-amelia. Despite her limitations, no additional aids she is in the top five students in her selective High school and is due to go to University next year if sufficient funds can be found. To complete her studies she will need financial support until she can find employment and become self-sufficient.
However, Srey Hang is the only one of many Cambodians that desperately need help. This country has the highest number of amputees per capita in the world. There is an acute shortage of wheelchairs, medication, and professional support. Exceed does an outstanding job, but many provinces have little help and the life expectancy of spinal injury patients is still only 2 years.
In order to attend university, Srey will need around $5000 per year for 3 years, our goal is to raise that money and secure her ongoing education.
