We are organising an awesome Teddy Bears Picnic on the 12th October in Kelburn Country Park , in Largs, Scotland to celebrate 30 years of working alongside children, young people, carers, parents and families.

We want to bring together, from across Scotland, all the children and families who are a part of Stepping Stones for Families for a much needed and unforgettable day away in an exciting, colourful, and magical place. A day of fun, freedom, play, family and friendship for all, as we celebrate 30 years of our charity's work in Scotland.

As an organisation we trust and seek to be trusted, we build relationships with children and their families, providing a safe place for families to share their life stories with us, as we seek to nourish talents, and provide the support families need to: give voice to their dreams; pursue their aspirations; and access opportunities that were once thought to be drifting out of reach.

For 30 years we have supported families to build their resilience and develop the confidence they need to break through the barriers of isolation, poverty and exclusion. Hamish, our much loved teddy bear mascot will be our guest of honour at the Teddy Bears Picnic, and he will be bringing 1,000 of his wee teddy bear pals to the picnic, one wee teddy for every child who can join us on our special day of celebration on the 12th October.

Stepping Stones for Families is a charity registered in Scotland, and every year we provide support to 2,000 families who live in Glasgow; South Ayrshire; East Ayrshire; and North Ayrshire.
