This October we are taking on The Wadi Rum Ultra - one of the toughest footraces on earth. We will run 6 marathons in 5 days. 260km through the Wadi Rum Desert.
On our journey our aim is to empower women, change the perceptions of women and enable women to push beyond what they previously perceived as boundaries.
We are fundraising for TRIBE Freedom Foundation. The charity established by the TRIBE community to end modern slavery. They support frontline organisations providing long term support for the survivors of trafficking and exploitation.
Our 2018 fundraising target is £10,000 to support TRIBE Freedom Foundation and their outstanding charity project partners:
Ellas Home: an East-London safe-house providing rehabilitation, accommodation, and support for women exiting situations of trafficking and exploitation. In partnership with Luminary Bakery, they also offer training and employment opportunities, helping survivors to regain independence.
Snowdrop Project: a Sheffield-based charity and one of the first in the UK to provide long-term follow-on support for survivors. They work with clients on an individual basis to ensure their personal and complex needs are met.
