Story

Every 4 hours, someone in the UK is permanently paralysed. At Back Up we inspire people affected by spinal cord injury to get the most out of life.

Our London Marathon 2021 team are itching to get running after waiting so long. Their support will help Back Up continue running both in person and digital services for people with a spinal cord injury and their families. People like Lillie:

Back Up services include mentoring, wheelchair skills training and activity courses as well as support in getting back to work or school after an injury. We provide peer led tailored support to help people adjust to a spinal cord injury and inspire independence and confidence for a positive future.
