On Saturday 15th August, a group of incredible supporters are taking on the Derby Cathedral Abseil for Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity.

Each participant will climb 189 steps to the top of the cathedral tower before abseiling 212 feet back down - an exciting and daunting challenge, all for a great cause.

They’re each taking part for their own personal reasons, but with one shared goal: to help make our hospitals even better for the patients, visitors and NHS staff who rely on them every day.

Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity funds the extras that make a real difference - like specialist equipment, comfort items, improved spaces for patients, and wellbeing support for staff.
