I’m doing something a little loopy (that won't surprise most of you) - taking on the Derby Cathedral Abseil on August 15th for Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity.

I’ll be climbing 189 steps to the top of the cathedral before abseiling 212 feet back down (eeeeek!).

I’m fundraising to support the extras that make a real difference for patients and staff - like specialist equipment, improved spaces, and wellbeing support across our hospitals. More personally, the Nightingale Macmillan Unit at Derby provided excellent care for my dad in his last weeks, and anything I can do to help ensure it's able to do the same for others is brilliant.
