The Island is dedicated to supporting vulnerable young people in York, empowering them to overcome challenges and thrive in their communities. Every day, young people face obstacles such as isolation, poverty, and lack of opportunity. Through our tailored services, we provide them with the guidance, resources, and support they need to build a brighter future.

Our work is built on trust, with mentors who offer one-on-one support, helping young people to navigate life's hurdles and achieve their personal goals. From educational support to emotional well-being, we focus on the whole person, ensuring they feel heard, valued, and understood.

We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to flourish, regardless of their circumstances. However, to continue making a meaningful impact, we need your support.
