With a new blood cancer diagnosis every 27 seconds worldwide, Cure Leukaemia funds research nurses at UK blood cancer centres, giving patients access to treatments through clinical trials. This support drives global significant advancements in blood cancer, impacting those affected by the disease.

Story

This incredible team of amateur cyclists from around the world rode as one, completing the full 2026 Tour de France route over three and a half weeks. Together, they conquered more than 3,300 kilometres across 21 stages, tackling relentless climbs, exhilarating descents and some of cycling's most demanding terrain from Barcelona to Paris.

Together, the team achieved its ambitious fundraising target of over £1,000,000 for Cure Leukaemia, the official UK charity partner of the Tour de France.

The funds raised will directly support the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) — a network of specialist research nurses and trial centres bringing pioneering treatments to blood cancer patients more quickly, not only across the UK but with global impact.

On behalf of our doctors, nurses and, most importantly, the patients who inspired every mile, thank you for your generous support. Every donation has helped make this extraordinary achievement possible and will continue to accelerate access to life-saving blood cancer treatments.
